When my husband and I were stationed in LaMaddalena, Sardegna, our Italian friends introduced us to this simple and delicious antipasto! The Sardinians stuff their flowers with mozz di bufalo and fry ‘em up…oh..dear…Lord…to die for!

My pleasure, Karen! They are really easy to grow, especially flowers… I started with a pair of 4″ crookneck squash pot, and they have given me so many flowers already, and still producing many, many buds. Try different stuffing, and make sure to share your favorites with us.

Flor de Calabaza (spanish) or Zucchini Flowers are so delicious, I have a recipe on my blog about chicken and zucchini flowers enchiladas, it is so delicious!
