And just to elaborate on that idea, I’d like to include people of different cultural regions in creating them together. I’d research & ask them about certain ingredients/dishes that are representative of their food. Then possibly bring a portable gas stove (around the city?) to prepare, create, and taste-test those ingredients together, while documenting & photographing the process.

Hopefully it will bring about an even wider awareness of this yummy treat, and would be a great opportunity to meet people.

For example, one week it can be different Korean fillings (such as kimchi, etc.), another week, Polish, then, Turkish, Kenyan, Dominican, Indian, etc. the possibilities are endless. And even try American classics & U.S. regional (Cajun, New England, etc.), and OF COURSE the traditional Danish way can be among the fillings enjoyed.

I live in New York City, which is considered a melting pot of cultures. I’d like to try using different ethnic food ingredients (savory & sweet!), and include them in these aebleskivers, which also seem like a little melting pots of deliciousness.

I’d share about the different trials on my food blog, which I have been trying to be more consistent about. And of course, I’d share about it on the hosts’ sites as well.

I think it would be great to have this specialty pan because because our group of friends is getting back to basics and doing more at home themed dinners then heading out to more expensive establishments. We have had a fondue night, chili bar, make your own pizza, and it would be just as fun to have an Æbleskiver night.
